PRINCE…. IT’S ‘NO’ SHOW TIME ... REVIEW.

DIRECTED BY : KOOKIE GULATI

When I heard that tips has put Rs.40cr. movie on the shoulders of VIVEK OBEROI , I thought this time vivek would bring something meaningful and good enough. But…aah he did it again; he has proved that HE IS 'NOT' MADE TO DO ‘HEROIC’ STUFF.

Movie is about a super cool thief PRINCE. He does some unbelievable robberies around the world but one day when he wakes up he found that his whole memory has been ERASED. Even if it was not enough he comes in to contact of 3 different girls who calls her selves ‘maya’ his girlfriend. As his memory has been erased he doesn’t know which one is real ‘maya’.

As the movie goes ahead he finds that the coin which he robbed was containing a chip which can erase or change a person’s memory and the chip was used on him by his boss to erase memory. At the end he gets his memory back and villain got killed by him.

Movie is heavily dependent on visual effects and action and that even sometimes looks illogical and indigestible. Apart from this 2 songs are there which on some extent entertains but nothing else.

Performance? Vivek as I said should have left his attitude and over-acting to justify his character…but he didn’t. Three female were simply ok.

There is no reason to watch this. And if you want to see just bring medicine for headache with you.

I hope producers will think before investing in such projects.

RATING: 3.5 OUT OF 10.

THE BOAT THAT ROCKED- rock-n-rollll

(Released in 2009)

This movie is set in Britain during 60's about a pirate radio station broadcasting from offshore.

This pirate station called 'Radio Rock' began broadcasting pop and Rock-n-roll music twenty-four hours a day from a boat anchored off the coast of England. The station is hosted by a band of DJs, it soon gains an audience of millions. on the other hand it invites anger of the UK government . so in process A minister tries few tactics to shut down this radio station but doesn't succeed that much.

The movie also involves little tracks of different DJs and how they entertain people. The movie has got some really great music on air time, excellent performances from Philip Seymour Hoffman,Rhys Ifans,Nick Frost and Kenneth Branagh.

A movie with lots of rock-N-roll and pop music of 60's and good story to tell. it entertains thoroughly.

CLASH OF THE TITANS- REVIEW

Starring: Sam Worthington as PERSEUS
Liam Neeson as ZEUS
Ralph Fiennes as HADES
Danny Huston as POSEIDON

From the title the movie it sounds quite heavy but movie doesn’t reach to all the expectations like its title suggests.

Movie is set around Greece city called Agros where humans are about to go on battle against THE GOD (ZEUS-king of gods). Humans started believing that the gods are doing injustice to them and for that they started to go against them. on the other hand brother of Zeus , Hades-the god of dark underworld convinces his brother Zeus to go for a vengeance against humanity by destroying the Agros city.

Meanwhile PERSEUS the son of Zeus, and raised by a fisher-man loses his family because of attack by Hades. So he decides to take revenge against Hades. He joins the soldiers of Agros and starts his journey to find the way to defeat Hades and his dangerous creatures. during this journey he fights against so many beasts and creatures from underworld. And at the end saves humanity and Zeus from Hades.

The movie has splendid visuals. The creatures they created were quite interesting. If they could have given more screen time to last creature it would have been a good fight sequence like they show with Scorpios. Apart from this movie goes really flat. Movie has some good fight sequences. Movie falls because it does not have that feeling like 300 or the pirates or Gladiator had.

But its one time watch and those who love stunning effects would like it.
